Cherry Blossom and Silver Dew expand the colour palette of the flat-knitted compression garment
The Lastofa Forte Merino flat-knitted quality is introducing two new fashion colours. From 1 October 2026, the compression garment for people with lipoedema and lymphoedema will be available from specialist retailers for one year in the expressive pink shade Cherry Blossom and the elegant grey tone Silver Dew.
Inspired by nature, Cherry Blossom and Silver Dew offer two fresh options for people with lipoedema and lymphoedema to express their personal style while wearing compression therapy with confidence.
The vibrant pink of Cherry Blossom is inspired by the uplifting atmosphere of Japan’s Sakura blossom season. The colour symbolises vitality and self-confidence, making it an ideal choice for those who want to wear their compression garment visibly and make a style statement.
In contrast, the cool grey of Silver Dew conveys a sense of freshness and calm. The subtle shade adds a modern and versatile option to the colour range, combining effortlessly with a variety of looks. Whether for everyday wear, professional settings or special occasions, Silver Dew offers an understated and elegant appearance.
More individuality in compression therapy
“Colours play an important role for many patients when it comes to the acceptance of compression therapy,” says Carola Essig, Head of Marketing and Product Management at Ofa. “With Cherry Blossom and Silver Dew, we are expanding our range with two versatile fashion colours that reflect different styles and bring greater variety to the wardrobes of people with lymphoedema and lipoedema.”
Both fashion colours are available for leg compression garments in compression classes 1 to 3. Decorative seams in silver are available as an optional feature. Upon request, a small knitted heart can be incorporated into the sole of the foot at no additional cost, serving as a discreet companion throughout compression therapy.
The current fashion colours Marigold and Pomegranate will be discontinued with the launch of the new colours and will therefore no longer be available from October 2026.
Lastofa Forte Merino: Individual and temperature-regulating
Lastofa Forte Merino offers made-to-measure flat-knitted compression that combines a wide range of add-ons with an extensive colour palette, from subtle to expressive. At the same time, wearers benefit from the temperature-regulating and moisture-managing properties of mulesing-free merino wool, providing outstanding wearing comfort throughout the year.
There is no need to worry about itchiness: the fine merino fibres are encased in high-quality microfibre, preventing the wool from coming into direct contact with the skin.
Since August 2026, Lastofa Forte Merino has been complemented by the new Lastofa Forte Cotton quality with organic cotton and seven standard colours, providing even greater choice for individual skin needs and wearing preferences.
