New Suspension Band Technology for Custom-Made Compression Garments
A secure fit is a key success factor in every compression therapy solution. However, in daily practice, the garment’s upper edge is often where problems arise: suspension bands can slip, roll down, or fold over. The result is reduced wearing comfort, increased consultation effort, and additional adjustments for medical supply retailers.
With Rollstop+, a patent-pending silicone dot suspension band, Ofa introduces an innovative solution that addresses this critical area and fundamentally rethinks the garment’s upper edge design.
Rollstop+ was specifically developed for compression garments with increased demands on support and stability, such as those worn by patients with softer connective tissue. In these cases, conventional suspension band solutions often reach their design limits, negatively affecting both the fitting process and patient acceptance.
Rethinking the Suspension Band
Rollstop+ is based on a specially engineered design that combines an innovative spacer fabric with a functional silicone dot structure. This unique construction stabilizes the suspension band edge, ensures even contact with the skin, and reduces the band’s natural tendency to move.
As a result, the compression garment remains reliably in place throughout the day, even during physical activity. At the same time, reduced friction can help minimize skin irritation, further enhancing wearing comfort and supporting long-term therapy adherence.
For medical supply retailers, Rollstop+ offers one key advantage above all: greater reliability in patient care with reduced need for follow-up adjustments. Particularly in complex custom-made compression garments, the suspension band supports a stable fit and helps minimize complaints and repeated modifications.

The Rollstop+ silicone dot suspension band will be available for circular-knit Lastofa custom-made compression garments from July 1, 2026, expanding the existing product portfolio with a specialized suspension band option for patients who require enhanced support and stability.
