Starting October 1st, Ofa is expanding the colour palette of its medical compression line Lastofa Forte – the flat-knit quality with merino wool – with two new fashion shades: Pomegranate, a deep, berry-toned red, and Marigold, a warm yellow hue with natural radiance.
The launch is part of the Ö-Campaign, which has been running online since May and has resonated strongly with end users. At its heart is the “Ö” – a distinctly German letter that quite literally appears in the original German medical terms Lipödem and Lymphödem, and which Ofa has deliberately placed in the spotlight.
In headlines like “You are ströng” or “Tögether,” the “Ö” appears where it doesn’t belong, stands out, and remains ever-present – just like lipedema and lymphedema in the lives of those affected. With “Ö,” everything becomes heavier: physically, emotionally, and socially. And that’s precisely where the strength of those affected lies: they navigate everyday life with compression, with poise, and with confidence. The campaign makes this strength visible. It reveals what lies behind the “Ö”: power, courage, and the decision not to hide, but to shape life actively and on one’s own terms.
Pomegranate and Marigold integrate seamlessly into this visual and conceptual narrative, complementing the existing Lastofa Forte colour concept, which is consistently inspired by nature. Coordinated decorative materials have also been designed to ensure a consistent brand experience – from the first touchpoint, often online, all the way to specialist retailers.

The new fashion colours will be available for one year and will replace the previous shades Hibiscus and Agave. They are offered for leg garments in compression classes 1 to 3 and can optionally be combined with a decorative silver seam.
